Salary Range:

Starting at $9393 per 3 unit course.

Purpose:

Purpose: The Economics Department at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit, Catholic university in the Silicon Valley seeks candidates to teach various undergraduate Economics Courses for the academic year 2024-2025.

Responsibilities: Fulfilling all responsibilities associated with these courses, including
a. Design course syllabi in collaboration with the Course Coordinator.
b. Preparing for and conducting all assigned class meetings.
c. Assigning and evaluating written work, projects, and exams that align with course learning objectives.
d. Holding weekly office hours on campus.
e. Assigning and submitting student grades to the Registrar's office by the designated deadline.
f. Attending department and school meetings as requested.
f. Fulfilling other instructional or academic duties as may be assigned by the Dean or the Chair of the Department.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics and must have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level.

Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate teaching experience.
